![]() The idea of Ghostwryta Creations was conceived by Micheale Catrina Washington. Writer By Talent, Dancer By Nature, Brilliant By Birth.
Miss Washington decided to take her creativity to the next level by introducing it to the public. Micheale was born on June 10, 1975 and currently resides in Pembroke Park, Florida. Micheale received her Bachelor of Science degree in Communication from the University of Miami in 1998, double majoring in Motion Pictures & African American Studies. Micheale is currently seeking her Masters Degree in Cinema Studies at the University of Miami with the hopes of completing her Doctorate.
Micheale has been writing since the age of five and honed her skills for writing feature films in college with an extensive concentration on screenwriting while completing her Film Degree. She has served as script consultant for both the University of Miami Film Association (UMFA) and Black Filmmakers Association for which she served as president for three years. In addition, she served as Vice President of The Women in Film Association, and headed screenplay workshops for Miami's Black Film Festival and is founder of The Mad Poet's Society ( a collective of talented poets in cyberspace). Miami's booming film industry has given Micheale the opportunity to intern for such feature films as Bad Boys, The Specialist, Holy Man, and Any Given Sunday. She has also worked closely with such talent agencies as Unique Casting, Michele Pommier Models, and Ford Models. Micheale is currently working on future screenplays for feature length films and television as well as her first book of poetry.
